This dialog allows you to select columns you want to see in the main log list.
According to the software you are monitoring, this gives you a quick way to keep the most significant columns for you current monitoring session.
By the way, registers columns are very useful for asm software hooking, but quite useless else.
Of course you can change this setting when you want (hooking started or stopped).
