Last Update: March 04 2005 | A solution to start screensaver is to make a direct shortcut to a specified screen saver.
But in this case, each time you'd like to change your screen saver you have to recreate shortcut.
To avoid it, just use StartScreenSaver : your current screen saver will be launched, and if you don't have any screen saver configured,
a random screen saver will be launched.

Last Update: November 16 2005 | If you're fed up with manually disable your screen saver before to launch an application like the old windows media player, this software is for you.
Just change a little your shortcut and don't care anymore about your screen saver !
What change should be done to shorcuts ?
Example: we want to launch the old media player.
Right click on the old media player shortcut, next properties.
You'll see somthing like "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe" in the target field.
If DisableScreenSaver path is C:\Program Files\DisableScreenSaver\DisableScreenSaver.exe, just modify the link to
"C:\Documents and Settings\DisableScreenSaver.exe" /C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player\mplayer2.exe
You may need next to restore your shortcut icon, by clicking "Change icon" (still in the shortcut properties) and selecting your original program file (mplayer2.exe in this example).
That's all. You'll never have to manually disable your screensaver again.
